The purpose of his visit will be to explore research collaborations between Prionet and instiututions in China working on prion disease research. His itinerary will take him to Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Beijing. |

They attended BPN and HKSTP hosted a luncheon of the Global BioScience Partnership ( http://www.globalbioscience.org/news/latestdetail.php?id=14 ), where Stephen presented an update on Hong Kong to GBP members. |

Paul Stinson participated in a mission to Beijing and
Shanghai, led by Canada's Minister of International Trade,
Hon. David Emerson. There, Minister Emerson signed a Memorandum
of Understanding with China's Ministry of Science and
Technology to increase collaboration between the two countries,
particularly in the fields of alternative energy and environmental
protection. From Shanghai, Paul proceeded to Hong Kong

to present the company's expansion plans to the Monte
